By purchasing any product(s) from EnviroQuest InternationalSM or AlpineAirTechnologies.com, in addition to general Terms of Use for our web site, you unconditionally agree to the following terms and conditions of our 30-day Money Back Guarantee and 3-Year Parts & Labor Warranty, which govern any and all purchases made directly on AlpineAirTechnologies.com web site or by calling our phone number provided and placing order over the phone with any one of our representatives, and supersede anything else verbal, written, or implied regarding the said warranties.

30-Day Money Back Guarantee

Our 30-day money back guarantee applies only to air purifiers purchased directly on our web site by end users (dealer orders excluded) and not to any replacement parts sold on our web site. Our 30-day money back guarantee applies to all air purifiers that are returned in the SAME condition they were received by customer, after first obtaining a return merchandize authorization (RMA) from our company. Units received back without prior authorization, or units mistreated, polluted, contaminated, hurt or damaged in any way by either of the following means: severe smoke; mold; chemicals; pervasive odors; disregard or negligence, are not subject to the 30-day money back guarantee and will either be sent back to sender upon receipt, or RMA will not be issued for the return.

Machines that arrive back damaged in transit as a result of not being properly packed by the customer will be subject to the outcome of the carrier's claim, filed as a result by the sender/shipper. If we are considered the shipper via the means of providing the customer with a prepaid return shipping label, and should the "damaged in transit" claim be paid out to us by the carrier, at that time we will apply credit to customer's account used for purchase of the machine, in the amount of the payout value received from the carrier. If the claim in denied at carrier's sole discretion, we will not accept the return of the damaged unit in question. Instead, customer will be given the option to repair the unit at reasonable cost or receive it back in whatever condition it's in, working or not.  If customer is considered the shipper via the means of paying for unit's return themselves, and should the "damaged in transit" claim be paid out to customer directly by the carrier, that will be the extent of the return, and we will have no other obligations financial or otherwise to the customer, even if the insured amount paid out by the carrier to customer is less than the customer's original purchase cost of the unit. Insurance claims can take up to 60 days or longer to process, depending on the carrier and their policies. Customer agrees to wait until the claim has been resolved.

EnviroQuest International or www.AlpineAirTechnologies.com at its sole discretion will determine if the unit is warranted for return and/or refund under the 30-day money back guarantee, and has the right to accept or reject any air purifier for return and/or refund under its 30-day money back guarantee.

Where EnviroQuest International authorizes the return of the air purifier(s) on trial, the customer will pay the cost of return shipping.

The following returns are subject to customer paying the full return shipping cost, plus 10% restocking fee based on full purchase price of the product(s) or total order value at the time the order was placed:

  1. Customer does not give the air purifier a fair trial. This includes all customers who for any reason whatsoever decide to return the air purifier in less than (2) two weeks from the date of receipt, unless such return is in exchange for another unit in case of damage in transit to the first unit, or an upgrade to a more powerful unit. We pay the outbound shipping cost for all customers on good faith, meaning that customer in return agrees to give the air purifier a fair trial following our guidelines to determine whether the air purifier works for their environment or not. Even though most of the time the difference could be felt almost immediately, in some highly polluted environments it may take several weeks to notice the benefits, depending on the source of air pollution. Those who do not give our air purifier(s) a fair trial of at least (2) two weeks from the date of the receipt to see if it makes a difference and simply decide within just hours or few days of receiving the air purifier that 'it does not work', will pay for return shipping, plus 10% restocking fee.
  2. Customer notices a problem after installing the air purifier, yet does not notify our Support dept. within their 30-day trial period to get the problem resolved and asks to return the air purifier instead. The problem could be anything from air purifier's mechanical malfunction to machine's actual performance where it's placed. In such a case, customer will pay for return shipping, plus 10% restocking fee.
  3. Customer is not co-operative and refuses to follow our recommendations for placement, set-up, or settings adjustment on their machine. If customer notifies us there is a problem with the air purifier's performance, it is mostly due to the incorrect settings of the unit. After we examine/determine the problem and offer customer a solution to resolve it within their 30-day trial period (we will extend the trial period if necessary!) and customer refuses, this would break the fair trial we ask for, and thus the customer would pay for return shipping, plus 10% restocking fee.
  4. Where customer refuses delivery of the order once the order has been shipped, thus forcing the carrier to return the order back to our fulfillment center, customer will be responsible for: a) the outbound shipping and handling cost we had incurred to send the order to customer; b) the return shipping and handling cost the carrier imposes to return the order back to us; c) the 10% restocking fee.
  5. 5. Order cancellation once the product has been shipped and before it's delivered to the customer. Due to streamlined fulfillment process, we have a strict NO cancellation policy, which is mentioned here and several times within the Shopping cart. Where the product has been shipped, if customer decides to cancel the order anyway, customer will be responsible for: a) the outbound shipping and handling cost we had incurred to send the order to customer; b) the return shipping and handling cost the carrier imposes to return the order back to us; c) the 10% restocking fee.

    These costs, as applicable will be deducted from the refund.

In case of any dispute arising from our 30-day money back guarantee policy and how it applies to your purchase, you agree to abide by our final decision and the outcome as a result, and NOT dispute any charges with your CC company or bank, or take any other derogatory action.

These terms and conditions are subject to being updated from time to time, and applicable changes (if any) will appear only on this page. 3-Year Parts & Labor Warranty

EnviroQuest International or www.AlpineAirTechnologies.com warrants all whole-house residential and commercial Alpine air living purifiers to original purchaser to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase invoice, under conditions of normal use. Alpine Air Living purifiers other than whole-house residential and commercial air purifiers may have longer or shorter parts and labor warranty. To see the actual warranty period of any particular air purifier, see that air purifier's specs found on its Info and Order pages. Should the air purifier's warranty period be longer or shorter than 3 years, same warranty conditions still apply as described here, with the length of time being the only difference or exception as applicable to the air purifier in question.

Should a problem arise with Alpine air living purifier's performance during the first 3 years of operation, we will repair any defect at no cost to customer, aside for the customer paying a small shipping fee to a carrier of their choice to send the air purifier via any shipping method they choose to one of our authorized repair facilities assigned to handle the repair at the time. Upon receipt, customer's Alpine air living purifier will undergo an inspection by a qualified, factory-trained technician and any problem found will be repaired. All parts, repaired or replaced, will be warranted only for the remainder of the original warranty period. Should repair not be possible for lack of parts or any other reason, the Alpine air purifier will be replaced for the customer at no cost and will be shipped back to customer, all expenses paid. In such a case, the customer will receive the same air purifier as originally ordered, or one of equal value from whichever models that are available at the time. This is the extent of repair and/or replacement under the 3-year parts & labor warranty, and it excludes any monetary compensation back to customer.

EXCEPTIONS:

The 3-year parts & labor warranty shall be null, void, and non binding upon EnviroQuest International or www.AlpineAirTechnologies.com, if we (or our authorized service center) determine the cause of malfunction or defect to be a result of any of the following or a combination of:

  1. Failure to perform proper maintenance, as defined and recommended in the applicable User Guide / Owner's Manual, enclosed with every product.
  2. Failure to adhere to and provide proper operating conditions, as defined and recommended in the applicable User Guide / Owner's Manual, enclosed with every product.
  3. Unauthorized adjustments or mechanical changes to as-designed (default) configuration, made by end user.

Furthermore, if an attempt is made to disassemble the air purifier in a way not authorized or the air purifier has been disassembled by the customer fully or partially and incorrectly, or in a way not authorized and not as described in Technical Support FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section and question(s) applicable to the model and technical problem experienced, or not according to the instructions provided by our technical support personnel, such action will automatically void the 3-year parts and labor warranty. During our limited 3-year parts and labor warranty period, outside of doing monthly maintenance as required, any troubleshooting or repair on the air purifier can be performed only under the guidance of our technical support personnel (whether by phone or email) strictly following their specific instructions, or by carefully following the instructions outlined in the Technical Support FAQ section and question(s) applicable to the model and technical problem experienced. Any troubleshooting or repair outside of instructions provided by our technical support staff and those listed on the FAQ page, customer does at their own risk and understands by doing so, their 3-year warranty will be voided immediately and any current or future repairs as a result will be done at cost, which includes the cost of labor and the cost of return shipping to send the unit back to customer. Prior to undertaking any repair or troubleshooting, we advise to visit our Technical Support FAQ section and question(s) applicable to the model and technical problem experienced, and follow only the outlined instructions carefully to avoid any damage to the air purifier. If you're not able to locate the authorized troubleshooting tips and/or authorized repair instructions listed for your model in Technical Support FAQ section, please contact our technical support dept. first to get proper guidance and follow their specific instructions carefully. This will ensure the warranty of your machine remains in force and is not voided due to troubleshooting and/or repairing your unit outside of warranty.

EnviroQuest International and www.AlpineAirTechnologies.com assumes no liability for damages incurred by deliberate or incidental misuse of their product(s), or damages incurred in transit. And, in its sole discretion, will determine whether warranty repair is applicable for any air purifier received, and has the right to accept or reject any air purifier for repair under warranty. In case, where we determine negligence as described above, warranty will not be honored and instead customer will be given an option to repair the unit at a reasonable cost set by our repair facility at that time. Customer will have 30 days to agree to such repair or decline it. Should customer decline the repair at cost or not communicate their decision to us within 30 days of being notified, the unit will be sent back to customer as is / as was received by us, without being repaired.

NOTE: All Alpine air living purifiers found to be mechanically or cosmetically defective within the first 30 days of purchase will be replaced by default with a brand new unit of the same model sent to customer at NO charge! This includes the air purifiers damaged in transit as a result of carrier's negligence, in which case we will replace customer's machine, and file an insurance claim with the carrier for damage in transit to the original unit. Customer agrees to fully cooperate with us and/or the carrier and provide any information that maybe requested to help resolve the insurance claim, for the duration of the claim.

Any transit damage mechanical or cosmetic must be reported within the first 30 days of air purifier(s) and/or accessories receipt (starting from the day the order was delivered.) If reported in timely manner, we will make proper arrangements to exchange the damaged air purifier and/or accessories at no charge to the customer, including covering the shipping and handling cost for the return of damaged air purifier(s) and/or accessories back to us, and the shipping and handling cost of the replacement air purifier(s) and/or accessories shipped in exchange to customer. Any claims arising AFTER the initial 30 day period will NOT be honored for the exchange, and will be treated only per our 3-year parts and labor warranty described on this page, as applicable.

Product(s) reported damaged mechanically or cosmetically in any way upon arrival will be exchanged as described here only AFTER we first verify the damage has actually occurred, no matter what the extent of the damage is, big or small. We may request photo images using digital camera depicting transit damage where applicable, depending on what's being reported, such as in the case of external cabinet damage even if it's minor, which could be easily verified visually. And we reserve the right to deny any exchange at our sole discretion if customer refuses to co-operate with us and provide visual proof of damage and/or anything else requested that may be needed for us to verify or confirm damage prior to undertaking the extra expense of replacing the product(s). If such necessary proof as requested is not provided to us within 30 days of order receipt (starting from the day the order was delivered and regardless of when during this time the damage was actually reported), the product(s) in question will be deemed to have been received in acceptable condition, the exchange will not be honored and product(s) will be treated under 3-year parts and labor warranty described on this page as applicable. Should customer refuse to co-operate with us by providing the necessary proof of damage and/or anything else requested to proceed with the exchange, and instead returns the product(s) for refund, the return may fall under 30-day money back guarantee exception(s) listed above on this page, in which case applicable return charges will be deducted from the refund.

PRODUCT CABINET: Our 3-year parts and labor warranty applies to mechanical defects ONLY and does not extend to product cabinet. Should product cabinet be found defective (cosmetic damage) and reported to us within first 30 days of unit's receipt as described above, we will exchange the air purifier as described above at no cost to customer. All cabinet claims arising AFTER the initial 30 days of receipt are subject to a (prepaid) flat $50 USD replacement fee, plus the shipping cost to send the unit back to customer to be determined at the time of shipping. Customer is also responsible for the inbound shipping cost to send the unit to our repair center for cabinet replacement.

MAINTENANCE PARTS: The parts covered against defects under our 3-year parts & labor warranty are only mechanical components that are designed to last longer than three (3) years, and this does not extend to what's considered maintenance/replacement parts that will naturally wear out as monthly maintenance is performed and/or may naturally have a shorter lifespan (i.e. Ozone plates and Hepa air filter will naturally wear out over time; UV bulb just like any other light bulb may naturally burn out anytime and may need replacing, etc.) Air purifier mechanical components covered for three (3) years include the following: PCB Board; Radiowave and Negative Ionizer; High voltage transformer, Fan Motor, Reostat, internal wiring, and all other non-maintenance internal components deemed necessary for air purifier to perform its regular functions. Maintenance/replacement parts, are defined as all those parts on which the user is expected to perform monthly maintenance, and which will naturally wear out as the monthly maintenance is performed and as a result of air purifier's continuous operation, which include: Ozone plate(s); UV bulb(s), and Carbon/Hepa air filter(s) that although usually last a long time if maintained correctly, are NOT covered by a 3-year parts warranty that applies only to mechanical components, which wear out at a much slower pace and naturally are supposed to last longer. Instead, the maintenance/replacement parts are warranted against defects only and for one (1) year only from the date of purchase, as follows:

NOTE: This limited warranty on maintenance parts is null and void in case of customer's own negligence, where part(s) fail as a result of maintenance not being performed at all, or not being performed fully, correctly, or on time, as instructed in the User Guide, and also in case of the air purifier being used in an adverse environment, which may directly cause the maintenance part(s) to fail much quicker than its intended lifespan, where otherwise it would have been expected to last well through or beyond its regular lifespan. Examples of negligence include, not cleaning and/or washing the ozone plates and/or the back air filter on time as applicable and instructed in the User Guide, or washing it with chemicals or other substances, which may damage the material or the part. Or, in case of a smoker, where smoke and nicotine deposits will naturally quickly pollute the back air filter, prompting the user to exchange it much sooner than normal and/or causing the ozone plates to burn out much quicker than their lifespan. Or, if the user accidentally breaks or damages the UV bulb while performing maintenance. In case of any such occurrence(s) among others, which the company deems at our own discretion to be the act of negligence, the limited warranty will be void on the maintenance part(s) in question during its warranty period, and customer will be prompted to purchase the replacement part(s) at a small cost from the parts page of our web site or by calling us.

REPLACEMENT PARTS: All replacement parts sold separately on www.AlpineAirTechnologies.com are warranted to the original user for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, and will be replaced at no charge if found to be defective within 1 year of service.

MISSING PRODUCT: Any missing product(s) from your order that were not delivered with your order must be reported within the first 30 days of order delivery (starting from the day the order was delivered to you.) If reported in timely manner, we will make the proper arrangements to replace the missing item(s) at no cost to customer pending confirmation of missing product(s) after our internal investigation has been concluded. We will also cover the shipping and handling cost to replace the missing merchandize. Customer agrees to fully co-operate with us and wait as necessary until our internal investigation and/or missing product(s) claim filed with the carrier has been concluded. Any missing product(s) claims arising AFTER the initial 30 day period will NOT be honored for replacement, and will be replaced at standard cost at that time, applicable to the item(s) in question.
